Roof, Terrace, parapet wall and vertical walls
Surface preparation
Use high power water jet/wire brush to clean and make sure the surface is free from dust, oil, grease or any other loose particles. Check the substrates thoroughly, in case of damage, it needs to be repaired using mortars. In case of small cracks 3 mm or less should be thoroughly cleaned widened to be filled with crack sealer and wide cracks should be filled with polymer modified mortars. All corners and drain pipes channels etc. must be treated with polymer modified mortars.
Application On horizontal surface
Ensure that the coting is applied at least 6 inches inside the drain pipes. Apply self-priming coat (Diluted with water in 3:1 ratio by volume). Allow to dry for at least 3-4 hrs. prior to application of subsequent coat. Apply 2 coats of damp shield each in opposite directions, without dilution to achieve 10sqft/ltr. for all coats together
Application on vertical walls Apply self-priming coat (Diluted with water in 3:1 ratio by volume). Allow to dry for 4 – 5 hours, then apply another coat without dilution. Topcoat to be applied thereafter.
